Hollywood star Owen Wilson admitted that he had a terrible experience filming 2000 release Meet The Parents with Robert De Niro. The actor revealed that he was left speechless when he was supposed to shoot with De Niro.

Wilson said that he was so nervous after realising the powerful presence of the legendary actor that he fumbled while delivering his lines and eventually made fool of himself.

"I have a strong memory of the first time I was in the scene with De Niro. I`m taking (the family) to my house, and showing this like great big house I have and I turn to talk about the house...I see De Niro`s face. It was the whole cast, but I just kind of froze up when I saw De Niro, and Ben (Stiller) started laughing cause he could see what was happening," Wilson quoted.

The actor added, "None of my lines came out - it was just gibberish. I was like - I had to steel myself for the next takes and (tell myself), ‘You`ve gotta get it together or you`ll get fired! `"

However, the actor soon recovered from his feeling and will soon be seen with Ben Stiller and De Niro in the upcoming sequel to both Meet the Parents (2000) and Meet the Fockers (2004), Meet the Parents: Little Fockers.

Meet the Parents: Little Fockers tells the story about Gaylord "Greg" Focker and his wife Pam, daughter of a retired CIA agent, now have five-year-old twins. The film deals with how Greg and Pam raise their children.
