Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly joined the save India tiger campaign.The star will actively participate in the fight for the endangered species and might soon visit India for the same.
 
India’s Environment and Forests Minister Jairam Ramesh met the star at a reception organised by the Coalition of Rainforest Nations where Leo expressed his concern on the diminishing species and his desire to participate in the cause of tiger conservation.
 
Ramesh after his conversation with Leo divulged that DiCaprio will “lend his name” to the cause and would also play an “important role in sensitising” people on tiger’s plight.Jairam also said that DiCaprio was willing to be there in India soon and “DiCaprio’s involvement will strengthen India’s efforts” in the save tiger campaign.
