Hollywood’s leading man Leonardo DiCaprio undoubtedly portrays the role of a father with excellence on screen but in real life he is not ready to take the responsibilities of fatherhood.
The 35-year old heartthrob admitted that he wants to have children but believes that he still has some years in hand to be a dad. However, the actor added that he completely understands the feeling of a father.
DiCaprio quoted, "Do I want to be a father? Yes, but I think I have a few more years. In my private life, I still have time to become a dad, and I`ve no desire to rush. That said, I don`t think I need to have children to play a father in the movies. This feeling is in me, I understand it completely.”
Caprio who is happy with the success of his latest flick, ‘Inception’ wants media to concentrate on his professional life instead of personal. He is presently dating 25-year-old Israeli model, Bar Refaeli and refused to comment on wedding plans with her.
"I want to be an actor just like my role models. Robert De Niro, for example. Being discreet in his private life has allowed him to be even more credible in different roles on the big screen," DiCaprio said.
