French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his model-turned-singer wife Carla Bruni will soon become grandparents.
Sarkozy’s son Jean and his wife Jessica Sebaoun, who got married in September 2008, are now expecting their first child by 2009 end.
The announcement was made on Thursday while Sarkozy and Bruni were holidaying near St. Tropez, southern France.
Jean is Sarkozy's son with his first wife Marie-Dominique Culioli.
