It was not Vidya Balan alone who came to support ‘3 Idiots’ but even Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan joined in with her, stating that the film does not influence students to attempt suicide.
To clear public’s negative perspective of the film, Vidya Balan states,"The film '3 Idiots' gives out a message to the society that the rat race for higher grades has no meaning in life and the important thing is acquiring knowledge,"
The intellectual actress counteracted the allegation by stating that the suicide depicted in the film is not a suggestion but a reflection of the society.
More over it is a matter of concern that large number of students commits suicide due to the pressure of studies and added, "They end their lives at an age they should start dreaming about it.”
It was during her promo of the film ‘Ishqiya’ at Indore she stated this message to the media.
Well your judgment seems to be strong as even the Bollywood's Censor Board didn't dare to lay their scissors over your latest film 'Ishqiya'.
