It is due to Salman Khan’s special request why Aamir Khan flew from Los Angeles to watch his screening for ‘Veer’ and consequently really relished the work. 

In another incident Aamir was for the screening of his home production ‘Peepli Live’ at the Sundance film festival but for Salman he sacrificed his precious time to be with him on the special day.

This in-depth feeling between the two ‘Khans’ was evident on Wednesday and source reported, "Aamir was flying off to LA on Wednesday night so Salman kept a screening only for him at Ketnav in the afternoon. There was no way that Salman was going to let Veer release without asking Aamir what he thought about it since Aamir is known to have a keen sense of scripts and commercial cinema.

Since Aamir is known as an intellectual actor in the industry, his comment on the opinion of the film mattered a lot to Salman. Though it was least expectant from Aamir who scaled his film to a greater magnitude and stated it to be larger-than-life with its massy, dramatic scenes and fights besides entertaining.

Veer’ completely impressed Aamir and it was really a worth sacrificing his precious time for his friend and as sources added "As Aamir had to leave in a hurry because he had another event to attend, he called up Salman later and spoke to him for half an hour on Veer. Aamir told him the aspect he loved particularly in Veer like the father-son relationship. Aamir felt that the relationship was autobiographical as Salman had inculcated several aspects of his own life. When Salman told him Veer was inspired by the Russian novel Taras Bulba, Aamir appeared to be impressed." Aamir was amazed by the sheer scale and grandeur of the sets that were built for the periodic film ' Veer.' 

More over he encouraged Salman and stated, "He felt that Salman was a writer who had a fine sense of storytelling. Aamir thought that what came across that Salman loved writing and he should write more especially on topics that inspired him."

Aamir Khan was accompanied by his wife Kiran Rao and brother Faisal Khan to watch the trial show. before leaving for LA.

Well Salman waited for this compliment from critic like Aamir before finally going for a world wide release on this Friday.
