Mercedes is planning to release its four-door coupe concept car called Shooting Break Concept’ at Auto China 2010 that is to be held from April 25 to May 2.
 
The ‘Shooting Break Concept’ is a new design of Estate car and bears sports car with extra space for luggage.
 
The Shooting Break Concept car boasts of a completely new front design like sloping tail end with highly practical interior layout. It is also powered by a 306 bhp direct injection V6 petrol engine. But, the highlights of this car are its full LED headlamps that comes with five functions like country lights, motorway lights, enhanced fog lights, active curve lights and cornering lights. Apart from that, the intelligent light system is combined with LED technology with Adaptive Highbeam Assist for a safer drive at nights.
 
This Mercedes concept car is also made in the purview of the sports cars like SLS AMG that has a soft nose at the end.
 
The car also provides a dynamic look due to its powerful-looking rear wheel arches and low window design.
 
The car is run by a powerful V6 engine that proffers a 60° cylinder angle and a displacement of 3.5 litres. It is also characterized by direct injection featuring a control system which enables lean-burn operation. The engine is competitive in terms of fuel consumption.
 
Meanwhile, SAIC, one of the largest automakers in China, will introduce its all-electric concept car, the E1. Citroen is also planning to launch its Metropolis concept car on that occasion.
 
The Shooting Break concept car is expected to amuse the auto enthusiasts due to its sporty look and intelligent features. So, get ready on April 25 to take the experience of a joy ride on the new Mercedes’ concept car in Auto China 2010.
