Apple has upgraded its MacBook Pro models with the latest Intel Core processors.
However, the company has kept the starting prices the same for the various models like the 13-inch Pro costs $1,199, the 15-inch model priced at $1,799 and the 17-inch model costs $2,299.
The models have been provided with more computing power, storage, memory, battery life and graphics capacity.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with a new 2.4-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which is upgradeable to 2.66 GHz and an Nvidia GeForce 320M integrated graphics chip. It offers 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The 15- and 17-inch models also bear the Intel Core i5 processor, which is up to 50% faster than previous models.
All the new MacBook Pro models come with 4 GB of memory and 250 GB of storage, which can be upgraded at an additional cost. Apple has also allowed the customers to upgrade their MacBook Pros with 128-GB, 256-GB and 512-GB solid state drives.
