Samsung's Google Nexus Two has been named as the Nexus S and will be launched via the carrier service provider T-Mobile during the Christmas season.

The information was out on a retail site today. As per the site, the device would be a pure Android one with a lot of interesting features.

As per the reports, the Nexus S will run on Android 2.3 OS and sport a 4-inch AMOLED display.  Presence of a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor could be a striking one for the device. It is the first device to sport Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system.

The Samsung Nexus S allows the developers to build apps on a device that can be updated periodically. And, the set is also free from custom user-interface skins that can be good for some customers.

The Nexus S is expected to carry necessary software that is aimed at throwing good competition to the rival products. It seems that apart from T-Mobile, there are some other carriers like AT&T who are also interested to market it. However, that issue can be sorted out later by the partners Samsung and Google.
