Finally, Samsung Fit smartphone made its entry into the Indian market. The Android-based smartphone Samsung Fit smartphone is now available at Flipkart. The official website of Flipkart has listed the phone mentioning it as ‘forthcoming’ on the page.
According to the Flipkart website, the phone comes with one year Samsung India warranty and free transit insurance. The online sales firm is also estimating the release should happen sometime around 4th week of February.
Flipkart will sell the phone for Rs. 10,359 along with a 2GB microSD card. The phone was recently launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 at Barcelona.
The Samsung Fit runs on Android v2.2 or Froyo and is powered by 600 MHz processor. With 5 mega pixels camera and 3.31 inches TFT capacitative touch-screen display with 240 x 320 pixels, we can expect crystal clear images. The Internet features include Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS with AGPS Support and 3.5G.
The GSM-enabled phone equips other standard features like Stereo FM radio, MP3 music player and video player among others.
Equipped with Li-Ion 1350 mAh battery, the phone can sustain talktime of up to 640 hours on 2G and up to 420 hours on 3G.
