The Vodafone UK will be offering the Samsung Galaxy 551 smartphone in the country for free, but of course with monthly tariffs, sources confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy 551 QWERTY smartphone is a low-priced smartphone that is based on Android platform. According to sources, the company has fixed the monthly tariffs at £20.42 for availing 250 MB data and 100 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy 551, which was first unveiled in last October 2010, is equipped with all standard smartphone features. The smartphone comes with a 3.2 inches touch screen display and is functions on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Besides, the phone is equipped with a 4GB internal memory capacity, GPS, 3 mega pixels camera and sports MP4 and MP3 music player.
The application part of the phone covers social networking, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa, Organizer and Document viewer.
