UK’s large telecom carrier Orange will be launching LG Optimus 3D, Optimus Black and Sony Ericsson Xperia smartphones, sources said.
 
Orange is the UK-based largest mobile network operator and internet service provider. The LG Optimus 3D was just launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011.
 
“The LG Optimus 3D and LG Optimus Black show LG is really driving the market in terms of 3D and screen display technology. We’re pleased to be working with them to bring this latest innovation to Orange customers, pushing the boundaries of what a smartphone can deliver,” Nicola Shenton of Orange and T-Mobile's Everything Everywhere was quoted as saying.
 
Orange has not unveiled the prices of the devices to be launched but the devices can be expected around second quarter of this year.
 
The high-end smartphone LG Optimus 3D is enabled to experience three dimensional view of images without glasses. The phone is equipped with 4.3 inches 3D LCD capacitive touch-screen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution display and high speed Internet.
 
Besides, the phone features rich Internet features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and GPS.
 
LG Optimus Black is another phone on Orange’s cards. The phone boasts of its world's slimmest body with 9.2mm measure.
