Rima Fakih, Miss USA 2010 who is currently busy preparing for the Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on August 23 has strongly opposed the idea of Ground Zero mosque.
 
Rima, 24 said that the mosque should not be so close to the World Trade Centre.  
 
"it shouldn't be so close" the reigning Miss USA quoted.
 
An economics and business management student is reputed to be the first person of her nationality, ethnicity or religion to be named Miss USA.
 
"I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion," Fakih said.
 
She further added, "I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Centre. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion.”
