Three-time national award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar says that his soon to release rom-com Dil To Baccha Hai Ji will shock the audiences. Bhandarkar is widely known for his realistic cinema but the filmmaker is keen to change his image with his first romantic comedy.
"For the first time I am coming out with a movie which is very different from the realistic cinema which I make. `Dil To Baccha Hai Ji` is about three guys and their love interest. After making hard-hitting movies like `Page 3`, `Corporate`, `Fashion` and `Jail`, I just thought let`s shock the audience with a different kind of cinema, Bhandarkar was quoted as saying.
However, the director did not deny the fact that the movie is realistic comedy and not a senseless one.
"Dil To Baccha Hai Ji is not a senseless comedy. It is very logical and has the characters which one can relate to. Everybody in the film... when you see the characters you will feel it is the story of a person who one can identify with," Bhandarkar said.
Talking about his expectation from the flick, the filmmaker said, "I am sure people will extend the same love to (Dil To Baccha Hai Ji) as they have to my films for all these years since `Chandni Bar?.
Dil To Baccha Hai Ji stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Padamsee, Shruti Haasan and Shraddha Das in the lead roles.
