Katherine Heigl Opts Electronic Cigarettes To Kick Smoking Habit
Katherine Heigl was looking extremely gorgeous when she appeared at the Late Show with David Letterman but the beauty had lot to confess. The actress admitted that she was a chain smoker but after adopting a baby girl named Nancy Leigh, she wanted to get control on her habit. However, her struggle was not at all bed of roses as she tried every mean from patch, gum to Chantex but nothing helped. Finally she got a safe solution to her problem which is electronic cigarettes.
"Now I use an electronic cigarette. I know it's ridiculous, but it's helping me not to actually smoke real cigarettes. You feel like you are smoking, and you get to exhale but it's just water vapor and not nicotine. I've been doing it for six months. Smoking sucks! The one thing I would say to my kid is, 'It's not just that it's bad for you. Do you want to spend the rest of your life fighting a stupid addiction to a stupid thing that doesn't even really give you a good buzz?'"
The 31-year old beauty showed the example of her cigarette to former addicted smoker David Letterman.
"I'm essentially humidifying the space," she said as she puffed away.
Letterman was also clever to utilise the opportunity as he tried some puffs and looked little too indulged in the concept.
But we have to stop Heigl here as for her information electronic cigarettes are also not the safest option which she claims. Electronic cigarettes contain liquid nicotine, carcinogens and toxic chemicals such as diethylene glycol.
