Actress Eva Longoria and her husband Tony Parker have finally decided to end their three year marital relationship as Eva took the major step by filing the divorce. The news comes as a surprise as few days before Eva’s publicist had declared reconciliation between the two.
The actress filed the separation papers in a LA court on Wednesday. She has stated irreconcilable differences with her hubby as reason behind her move.The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star also has appealed the court to reinstate her maiden name Eva Jacqueline Longoria .
The actress in her statement said,"It is with great sadness that after seven years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other`s happiness.”
The divorce is being reported to be outcome of Tony’s growing closeness to a close mutual pal , Tony has been sending private text messages to her for nearly a year.
In July 2007,the couple had taken marital vows in a celebrated USD 1.5 million wedding held at a 17th century castle in Paris .
