Everyone loves to zoom in when it comes to taking pictures. The only problem they face is the fact that when they have zoomed into something closely, the smallest shake of the hand would cause immense blurring of the image. This is usually corrected when the camera comes with excellent optical image stabilization functions, which can make the image immune to shake or blur. A good example of such a camera is the Sony Cybershot DSC-H55, a superzoom camera that comes with a resolution of 14.1 mp and a zoom capacity of a good 10x apart from optical image stabilization function and many more impressive features.

Design and Functioning

Contrary to most superzoom cameras, which look like tiny versions of SLRs wherein the lens cannot be removed, the Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 looks more like a compact entry level camera with its slim shape and fluid design. This super zoom camera is available in two conservative colours of Midnight Black and Metallic Silver. It comes with zoom capacity of a whopping 10x, with 35mm equivalent of 25mm to 250mm. With Sweep Panorama Mode, all one needs to do is press the shutter button and sweep the camera in the desired direction. The camera continuously shoots at a high speed and then seamlessly stitches the images together with automatic position adjustment to create one stunning panoramic image. Its Dynamic Range Optimizer function uses a sophisticated algorithm to help recover shadows and highlights. The result is more natural images with clearer details that more closely match what the naked eye sees.
