The price war for Nintendo 3DS has begun in the UK with the country’s retailers started slashing their retail prices for the gaming console. Consumers will now have a wide range of options to choose from.
 
The Nintendo 3DS device was offered for pre-ordering soon after it was launched for 299.99 Pounds. The price reduction, which was reportedly initiated by Tesco, is anticipated to continue further.
 
The major retailers including Tesco, Amazon, ASDA and Sainsbury’s have slashed the price of Nintendo 3DS gaming console. Tesco is reported to offer the gaming device at a price lesser than ASDA. In addition, the retailer is also offering a voucher for 20 Pounds off.
 
Nintendo 3DS is the successor of Nintendo DS series and was officially launched in 2010 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo event. In what is seen the healthy competition among retailers, the prices of the gaming console are expected to decline further.
