It is not that the child prodigy Shams Patel of ‘Thanks Maa’ appears as a reel life fan of Salman Khan but also in real life he considers him so.

This National Award winner in the Best Child Category this year for his exclusive role in ‘Maa’ reveals that he loves to be remembered like Salman Khan where he played as an orphan street boy.

The director Irfan Kamal who is the son of legendary choreographer Master Kamal recalls how he struggled to show Salman about his importance in the film, he added, "In fact Salman plays a very important role in the film. Shams' character is a big fan and we see posters of Salman's films like Tere Naam and Saawariya throughout the film. Considering how important Salman is to the theme I badly wanted to show my film to him. But he is too busy."

The director wants at least Salman to watch the film as it is with him that he first narrated the script. Kamal said, "Since Salman is a very important part of the script I want him to watch the film. In fact when I wrote ‘Thanks Maa’, the first person I narrated it to was Salman. He was very excited about the film then. I don't know what happened after that. Salman's father Salim Khan Saab has seen the film. But not Salman."

According to the source’s report Salman has become very cautious about people after infliction of blame from a handicap whom he tried to help, additionally he added, "He is very very hurt by this incident. Salmanbhai has always gone out of his way to be a people's person. But he has been in principle against ever using fans for publicity. The whole incident has made Salman cautious of the people who want to use his name."

To the director’s zeal for Salman's favor to watch his film even the young star accompanies him, Shams stated, "I play Salman's fan in the film and I'm his biggest fan in real life. I really want him to watch the film."

I hope Salman’s big heart opens up to your request.
