The diva who loves to experiment with new roles coolly states, “just because it’s different” she has done this role in ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’.

She is presently concenterating on her next project, ‘Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se’ by Ashutosh Gowatikar, the director of famous ‘Lagan’. She will be playing the role of a Bengali girl of different air and is already determined to give her hundred percent to the movie. 

It’s a great responsibility according to the actress as the film is completely of different world and at the same time is related to an important part of the history, Deepika added “It’s a great responsibility for someone like me and I have to do justice to the character.”
