Miley Cyrus is planning to take a break from music so that she can drop her teen pop star image.
The 17-year-old 'Disney' star is sick of clean-cut songs and is planning to give her music a drastic make-over and has decided the best way to prepare her fans for an edgier sound is by taking a break from recording altogether, reported the media.
"I'm working on a record right now. I kind of want this to be my last record for a little while and be able to take a break and just get all the types of music that I really love and be able to have something edgier," said Cyrus.
Cyrus adds, "Because in a few years, as I grow up, so will my fans and I'll be able to have more of the sound of music that I'm into."
