Slum Dog Millionaire stars; Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have been rumored on the net as being engaged to each other. The news has upset Dev’s mom and he denies such gossips.

 

 

The two actors were seen together in the movie, ‘Slum Dog Millionaire’ and since then both share a great friendship. Although sources reports that Dev has been seeing Pinto since a long time and both were in a relationship.

 

Dev Patel’s mom read such news online and got badly upset with it, but Freida and Dev explained to her about the incorrectness of the reports.

 

Dev says, “I was like, Mum, 'I didn't (get engaged) trust me,'. Nothing's happened. Everything is fine. I'm just shooting a film.”

 

He further adds, “My mum will go to work and (have to) explain to everyone why they have written that her son is going to get engaged and got a wedding ring, and how it's all not true.”

 

He clears that he and Freida shares a good relation and whatever has been heard and said is not true.

 

Dev appreciates Pinto and says, "She (Pinto) is very inspiring to me and just great support. She's a great friend and amazing.”
