Ben Affleck Talks About His Directorial Goosebumps
Hollywood hunky Ben Affleck is on cloud nine after getting overwhelming response from the audience for his newly released directorial venture ‘The Town’ but the actor admits that he feels more pressure for his movie to do well on box-office when he has donned the director’s hat.
"It is very scary. You work just as hard on movies that work as those that don`t I can assure you. Particularly directing - you spend two years working on it and it comes down to one weekend," Affleck was quoted as saying.
The 38-year-old is trying out different ways to make his latest directorial piece a much bigger success.
Affleck’s new movie which is about a group of bank robbers in Boston stars several Irish villains. He said, "I`m going to suck up to the Irish people in Ireland and hope for an occurring favour with the Irish people in Boston."
The actor is presently in Dublin to attend the screening of his film, `The Town.
Undoubtedly, ‘The Town’ has been really a special movie for Affleck as he is not only the writer and director of the flick, but has also acted in it. The film earned $23.8 million in the opening week defeating newly released high school comedy ‘Easy A’ and thriller ‘Devil’.
