As known to everyone, the television soap ‘Balika Vadhu’ will take a 5 year leap today and child bride Avika Gor will have a new grown up face. The finalist for the serial will be announced today night.

As per the reports, the new Anandi will either be Pratyusha Bannerjee or Nivedita, while the third qualifier Ketaki Chitale is already shortlisted to play Anandi’s widow friend ‘Phooli’ now.

The mentors and the serial makers are in a dilemma now as both Pratyusha and Nivedita have got maximum number of votes from the viewers. But, the suspense will get over tonight after the  declaration of the final result.

Meanwhile, Pratyusha adds, “I’m from Jamshedpur and I’m still pursuing my education. So far, I’ve followed the show as closely as I could. If I step into Anandi’s shoes, my parents, my family and my grandma will be extremely happy, because they adore the little Anandi played by Avika. I’m amazed at Avika’s acting prowess and the way she personified the character.”

 

Quite confident of her selection, Nivedita adds, “I did college in Delhi. My family comprises my parents, both academicians, and my brother who is training to be an air force pilot. My family feels that this show signifies an initiative for social enlightenment. It sparked off change through an entertainment medium. I’ve watched the show only when I’ve found time from studies."

 

After the suspense gets over, the hunt for the grown face of Avinash  Mukherjee ‘Jagya’ will start.
