Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has won the best brand ambassador of the year award for the IDEA and Motorola campaigns. After winning the title at NDTV Techlife Awards 2009, Abhishek Bachchan said that it is a matter of pride for him to grab the title of best brand ambassador for the IDEA and Motorola campaigns. According to him, IDEA's campaign is simple, effective and appealing to the masses and classes.
He said that the campaign has enabled him to reach to the common people of the country and offer simple solutions to complex issues prevalent in the society. According to him, IDEA's campaign, which carries a socially relevant message in today's commercial environment, has encouraged two-way communication between the government and people.
Abhishek Bachchan and IDEA Cellular chief marketing officer Pradeep Shrivastava jointly received the award. Speaking to the media, Shrivastava stated that the award has recognized the success of the ad campaign as well as that of the brand ambassador, Abhishek Bachchan.
