Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who quit non-vegetarian food and embraced vegetarian food recently, has been lauded by PETA as “the real hero for all animals".
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals even sent him a gift as a token of appreciation for the step he adopted and has thanked him for this decision.
"By going vegetarian, Vivek Oberoi has proved that he is a real hero for all animals", said the PETA`s Campaign Coordinator Nikunj Sharma.
"Kicking the meat habit is the best thing that anyone can do for animals, their own health and the Earth," Sharma added.
Vivek Oberoi stopped eating meat after Kareena Kapoor urged him to do so. Kareena is a complete vegan.
