Twitter’s homepage has been revamped again with the homepage highlighting the latest trends and happenings all over the world. It was last modified in July 2009.

The new Twitter home page is designed to attract the users by putting latest trends and popular tweets. Many of us find it very much comfortable to socialize ourselves under any social network platform. And, the recent trend has been to go for latest tweets and search for top tweets around the world. So Twitter expects to grab the big user base who go for online mostly.

Online media has become so much powerful and popular that people can link to many peple and at the same time can get the ideas from the top celebrities, statesman and speakers. Hence, Twitter has set an algorithm to put select tweets on its homepage. Users can also see the profile summary from any of the tweeters.

As per the remodelling of the homepage, the top trends will scroll across the homepage to provide more space for viewing.

Twitter said in a blog post, "All of our recent changes embrace the notion that Twitter is not just for status updates anymore. It's a network where information is exchanged and consumed at a rapid clip every second of the day. With so much being shared, we know that there's something of value for everyone. People who internalize the value of Twitter understand the power of this simple medium. But it hasn't been easy to make that value transparent or obvious for curious folks coming to Twitter for the first time."

However, Twitter has clarified that the internals have been kept the same and only the homepage has been revamped.
