Toys 'R' Us Announces Cheapest Android Tablet ‘Elonex eTouch’  ‘Elonex eTouch’ |
Retail giant Toys 'R' Us has announced the cheapest Android tablet, the Elonex eTouch in the UK. The device will bear a price tag starting from just £89.99 only.
According to the company, the Elonex eTouch tablet will be available in two models such as a 7 inch touchscreen and another 10 inch touchscreen.
The 7 inch version sports features like 128MB of RAM, 2GB of storage, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack ports and WiFi. It runs on Android 1.6 OS.
The 10 inch version features 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor as well as 2GB of storage, microSD card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack ports and WiFi. It runs on Android 2.1 OS.
On the eve of the announcement, Toys ‘R’ Us Marketing Director Mike Coogan said, “This is yet another new, exciting and innovative product that we are confident to bring to our sales floor. It is important that Toys ‘R’ Us inspire this young and inspirational market offering the best affordable products on the marketplace.”
The 7 inch Elonex eTouch tablet will be available for £89.99 and the latter version will bear a price tag of £149.99.
