Spice has launched its latest dual GSM/CDMA phone called the D-1111 here in India. It is their first high-end dual-phone till date with Windows Mobile 6.0 OS.

It has many features including VAS (Value Added Service) applications such as Nimbuzz, Opera Mini browser, Reuters, Mitr to name a few.

The Nimbuzz feature lets you access various Instant Messaging services such as Yahoo Messenger, gtalk, MSN and more. Mitr is a single interface application for a wholesome mobile WAP browsing experience. The email2sms enterprise application allows users to read email through the SMS channel and requires no prior activation of GPRS.

The hardware features are, 2 mega-pixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory of 2GB, a push mail feature to check mails instantly, and a user-friendly touch panel.

Spice is currently allowing one month free Emails2SMS service subscription on D-1111.

It will be on sale in India for a price of Rs. 18,499 along with a 512 MB memory card.
