As Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X10 smartphone kicked off in India, the company is planning to expand its XPERIA line with more launches, sources said.
 
The company is likely to launch the Xperia line up smartphones at the Mobile World Congress expo in February.
 
The high-end model Xperia X10 runs on the Google’s Android 1.6/ 2.1 operating system. Recently the phone started its operations with Tata Docomo telecom services.
 
Now the handset major is expected to come up with Xperia X12, according to sources. The Xperia X12 model is expected to have a 4.2-inch touch-screen, 8.1-megapixel camera, more than 4-inches wide display screen, HDMI output, 720p recording, Wi-Fi and more advanced features.
 
Besides, Sony is also planning to launch PlayStation smartphones in Xperia line-up in the names- Xperia Arc, Xperia Duo and Xperia Neo, sources said.
