Pop star Shakira is all set to rock the stage with her performance at this year’s Britain's Glastonbury music festival. The Colombian singer will perform at the festival with singers like: U2, Stevie Wonder, Muse and Snoop Dogg.
The sensational singer will play the Pyramid Stage June 26.
Shakira quoted, "Glastonbury is famous for being one of the best festival crowds, so I'm sure I'll have a great time.”
The event will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The organiser of the event, Emily Eavis said that they are very happy that the pop star agreed to perform at the festival.
"Shakira is not only an amazing pop star but also socially and politically forward thinking; she's working incredibly hard for good causes around the world. We feel honoured to have the 'She Wolf' herself come to Worthy Farm," said organiser Emily Eavis.
Britain's Glastonbury music festival is the largest Greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world. The festival is best known for its contemporary music, but also features dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and many other arts.
