Buzz has it that versatile actress Vidya Balan is set to romance Sanjay Dutt aka Munna Bhai on screen again. If reports are to be believed then Vidya will be seen getting intimate with Dutt in the remake of 1982 release Satte Pe Satta.
The flick that was originally inspired from Hollywood movie ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ is now going to be remade by director Soham Shah. If everything goes well then Vidya will be portraying Hema Malini’s character in the movie.
Shah was looking for a face that could suit Malini’s role of strict but loving bhabhi. Reportedly Dutt suggested Vidya’s name for the role and Shah also agreed with the idea.
A source said, “Soham sounded it off to Vidya, who was blown away by the script. She has agreed. The modalities are being worked out.”
Sanjay and Vidya have earlier worked together in blockbusters ‘Parineeta’ and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’.
