Samsung plans to unveil a new mobile phone, SCH-W890 in Korea soon. The new set is expected to come via SK Telecom.

The SCH-W890 phone sports a 2.8-inch WQVGA display and is packed with many features like Bluetooth, text-to-speech facility, SOS function, Subway Maps and media player. There is also a 2MP camera along with front-facing camera for video calls. microSD memory card slot is also expected to come with the set.

Apart from the above features, the device is well connected with satellite as well as terrestrial DMBs for South Korean mobile TV viewers.  Interestingly, the handset can be used as a TV and the users need not worry about the signal too as it can even work in places where there is no signal at all. The satellite signal can be helpful for the users at that moment.

However, the details including the pricing and availability of Samsung CH-W890 dual-DMB phone are under wraps.
