Samsung’s Nexus S smartphone is now rolled out in India, sources said. Nexus S, which is jointly produced by Samsung and Google, has been launched in the Indian market for Rs 30,400. Few days back, the device was available for pre-order through Flipkart.
 
The 4 inches touchscreen phone boasts Super Clear LCD display and there is a 5 mega pixels camera with flash and a VGA camera. The Nexus S has Google Maps 5.0 with 3D navigation, Adobe Flash V10.1 support.
 
Samsung Nexus S runs on Android’s Gingerbread aka Version 2.3 operating system. The Nexus S is one of the initial devices to have Near Field Technology (NFC) in it. The NFC technology supports payment at check outs by just waving the mobile phone.
 
The other prominent features of the phone include proximity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, GPS and Bluetooth.
