Samsung is planning to bring the redesigned Galaxy S called the Epic 4G by August 31. This is Sprint’s new release under a price tag of $250.

According to Sprint, the Epic 4G will be available for $249.99 with a two-year contract and a $100 mail in rebate.

Samsung Epic 4G sports a 4-inch super AMOLED touch screen with a slid out QWERTY keyboard. It associates many features like Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5 MP camera, a VGA camera at the front end and Samsung Social Hub. The company will also Media Hub in future.

The Epic 4G smartphone runs with Android 2.1 OS and carries a powerful 1GHz processor. The set provides expandable memory up to 32 GB. There is also an option of instant e-book download facility.

However, the price and costly data plan of the Epic 4G will be a little bit heavy for a cost conscious customer.
