This is relevant not in case of crime but for a witness to a ten year old case that Salman Khan has to appear before the court.

The court seems to be very much in the await of Salman’ Khan’s presence in some or the other way. This time they have again got him hooked to swear as a witness to a ten year old case related to his film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" (CCCC) which has again reopened.
 
Reportedly, according to his family’s information the Bollywood actor Salman Khan had to appear before the Special MCOCA Court on Thursday to witness in a 10-year-old case regarding the persons he had met before the making of the 'CCCC' movie.
 
He had given a police statement on the person held under a crime case and on to this Salman’s father Salim Khan added, "He had given a police statement regarding the persons he had met before the making of the 'CCCC' movie over 10 years ago. He was called to confirm the statements before the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act today .”
 
According to a special statement made by Salman, he stated in front of MCOCA Special Judge M.P. Kukde that he had met producer Nazim Rizvi first time at his home regarding a  movie project discussion but concluded that he never met his Rizvi's assistant Abdul Rahim Allahbaksh Khan before.
 
Dated back in 2001, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had to take the initiative to  seize the prints of the film 'CCCC' in which Mumbai mafia is involved for funding it from a questionable sources.
 
In this case renowned diamond merchant Bharat Shah, who has financed ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’ along with the producer Rizvi and Dubai-based gangster Mohammed Shamsuddin alias Bhatija are also involved.
 
In account to this black money involved in this film production, the court directed to the financers to deposit the income from the movie in the government treasury till the matter remains pending.
On account to Salman’s payment that was deposited in the government treasury, the actor pleaded in an application to the court for the clearance of his fees of Rs. 15 million (Rs.1.5 crore).
 
The Mumbai court finally cleared first half in January 2009 and the last section of his Rs.2.5 million payment was made last week by the Maharastra government.
 
After much relieve, Salman again got tucked with the court and had to face as a witness to the prime accussed involved in this case.
