Saif Ali Khan will step into political genre in films for the first time with upcoming flick Aarakshan,a venture by Prakash Jha.Saif who has accumulated many hits in his Bollywood career has almost acted in all other genres-romatic,drama,action and thriller but had never undertaken a political thriller.
The high voltage political drama also has other biggies from tinsel town. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prateik Babbar and Manoj Bajpayee will be acting with Chote Nawab.
An excited Saif said, "This is my first time in a political movie. Considering my rest of the films are commercial, it is good to be in something socially relevant.”
Aarakshan focuses on the flaws in government and educational institutions depicting the major issue caste-based reservations in these sectors.Saif will sport a new look with a trimmed Zappa moustache sans a goatee for his role.
