The music wizcraft Richard Marx left Bangaloreans spellbound with his enthusiastic moves, velvety voice and witty remarks. Though he started late at around 8.45p.m., hearing him say ‘Namasteji’ and a few Hindi lines left people running from their seats at the food stalls nearby.

Richard initially started with slow numbers and then gradually increased tempo. The crowd were in a frenzy with their hands and glow light sticks up in the air singing along with him hit numbers like ‘Angelina’ and ‘Right Here Waiting For You’.

Moreover, it seemed Richard enjoyed the most who stated that it was a privilege to be here in this platform and would love to come again to perform for Bangaloreans. Obviously, it was a privilege even for Bangaloreans to have such an exciting singer to sing to them along with the main act of the night ‘Backstreet Boys’.

He said, "I hope this is the beginning of coming to India every year or two to tour. I want to play in as many Indian cities as I can.”

Audience loved the way he strummed the guitar and exchanged vibes with the crowd in a rhythmic way. If you ask him what way, he is familiar to India? He will reply actress Shilpa Shetty of Bollywood tinsel town. On and above in his tour to India he would like to catch up with many noted figures of Bollywood and explore the Indian music.

This is his second visit to India and eager to know more about it, the velvet voice Richard stated, “I was invited to perform at a private event about two years ago in Mumbai. I really know very little about India and the music. But I'm certainly aware of some of the Indian music that got attention in the US… like Cheb Mami, and of course the great music from Slumdog Millionaire.”

This 47-year-old singer added, “I never know from one month to the next where I’m going to go musically, so it’s impossible to predict.”

Wherever you may go Richard, we will be right here waiting for you.
