Rani Mukherjee plays the role of a no-nonsense crime reporter role in ‘No One Killed Jessica’, based on the real story of late model Jessica Lal. The actress says that she would be more than happy, if the movie gets an ‘A’ certificate as it demands adult audiences for it.

The actress says, “I will be more than happy with an 'A' certificate for my film. I want it because we don't want children to see this film.”

Most filmmakers try to skip the U/A certificate, but the actress seems even more geared up to get it, unlike the others. Her outspoken remarks have also surprised the Censor Board as the movie has explicit sex scenes and there also use of abusive and slang language.

But, the actress chooses to be even more candid and she says, “Nowadays, the middle finger is used a lot. If I wasn't comfortable doing the scene, I wouldn't have done it. Also, I'm comfortable abusing on screen because the role demanded it."

Rani plays the role of ‘Meera Bedi’ in the film, who is a very bold and outspoken crime reporter, as her profession demands her to be like that. Vidya Balan plays the role of Jessica’s elder sister, ‘Sabrina Lal’, who fought for getting justice throughout her life for her sister.
