‘Fashion’ hit gal Priyanka Chopra has marked her presence in the international arena of fashion industry with her striking performance in the film.

Initially, it was Maharani of Cooch Behar, Indira Devi who had the privilege to be invited by the legend of fashion industry Salvatore Ferragamo decades back in Italy. Now it is the noted siren of Bolywood Priyanka who is the second Indian after decades to have the honor to mark her presence at Salvatore's  luncheon cum dinner invitation.

It is truly an honor to share the same space with the Maharani, proud Priyanka stated, “Yes, I did! The maharani had exquisite taste and I did get to see a beautiful crystal encrusted sandal that was made especially for her. It is truly an honour to share the same space with her.”

It was a wonderful evening and magical experience in Italy with Leonardo. Overwhelmed, Priyanka mentioned, “It was a wonderful evening. The setting was beautiful and there was a wonderful sit-down dinner with a fabulous authentic Italian meal. The entire trip was very memorable. From a visit to the museum to getting my feet measured to a private dinner hosted specially for me, it was all very magical.”

 

Recollecting her prestigious moment from fashion industry, Priyanka expresses her opinion that India have come a long way in the fashion world and thus has secured a prominent place globally. She adds, “The world has woken up to what we are and the powerhouse of talent that exists within us. Indian women are not just beautiful but intelligent too. We definitely stand out in a crowd.”
