Bollywood actress and business women Preity Zinta has come under the fire of legal matters. Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia whose IPL team Kings XI Punjab just registered a victory in the series has to appear before the court on April 2.
Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia and Vice-President of Kings XI Punjab, Arvinder Singh are accused of using the names of freedom fighters Chandarshekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru in an advertisement to promote their team.
The civil suit which has been filed against Preity Zinta and her ex-beau holds the complaint of violating ‘The Emblem and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950’. According to the terms of act, no one can use the names or ideals that inspired the freedom struggle.
