Bhopal is becoming a favorite place of big time film directors like Prakash Jha. He is again set to scream the three words, ‘camera’, ‘lights’ and ‘action’ in Bhopal for directing his next film, ‘Aarakshan’. He also shot his last movie ‘Raajneeti’ at the place.

 

‘Aarakshan’ stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and it is a film based on government reservations and the exploration of the number of opportunities actually generated by it.

 

The film will also talk about the issues of the lower castes and the misunderstandings in the mind of common man related to reservation.

 

Prakash Jha further adds, “My next film would be titled Aarakshan and will star megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee."

 

 

He also said that the shooting is expected to begin by the end of this year and some of the local artists would also act in the movie.

 

Shooting in Bhopal can be due to two factors, one can be that ‘Raajneeti’ was a smashing hit and it was also shot in Bhopal. The other can be that Bhopal has the perfect atmosphere for shooting of such movies.

 

In fact, Jha has planned to shoot the movie throughout in Bhopal and there will be no shift in the location.
