Nokia is going to launch its next mid-range handset, the C2. This is another classic phone in the C-series.
Earlier, Nokia had released its three QWERTY phones, C3, C5 and E5. And, there is buzz about the new 12MP camera phone, N8. So, Nokia is gearing up to strike the chord of the younger generation.
As per the folks, the C2 looks like the Nokia 6800 and will run with S40 OS. However, the new Nokia phone is a nice design with a larger QVGA touchscreen. The 6800 model was carrying an odd looking split QWERTY keypad and small screen.
Apart from that, the C2 is expected to carry e-ink technology with its keyboard that can help in folding the keypad. There is supposed to be a 2MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics too.
However, the details like the specs and the release date might come to the public later.
