Hollywood starlet Natalie Portman has been chosen as the new face of the leading fashion brand Dior. The beauty will lead the campaign to promote its new perfume Miss Dior Cherie.
In a special event the company unveiled Natalie Portman as the new face of the product. This is the first time that the actress has agreed to be the face of a cosmetics or fragrance campaign.
Miss Portman will be seen appearing in series of print and TV commercials. Well renowned photographer Tim Walker has shot the print campaign while Sophia Coppola will be directing the TV commercial.
Claude Martinez, Parfums Christian Dior chief while praising the beauty of the actress called her charismatic and elegant.
In the advertisements, the Black Swan star will be seen with a young handsome model.
"I felt like a big old cougar. He`s, like, 20. The commercial is subliminal advertising for my film," Portman said.
