Handset manufacturer Motorola has launched two new Android powered smartphones, Milestone XT720 and Backflip in India.
 
The new phones promise to provide high definition video experience and Internet capabilities to the Indian customers.
 
The Milestone sports a 3.7-inch screen and is equipped with features like an 8MP camera with xenon flash, 720p/24fps video, video recording, playback, wi-fi, and HDMI. It is powered by 550MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor.
 
The Milestone wears a nice sleek design and is targeted to the tech-savvy people. It can offer 9 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby time. It is priced at Rs.34,990.
 
The second Motorola phone, the Backflip sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen and is laden with features like GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth, 5MP camera with Autofocus and LED flash, Geotagging, Java support, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD up to 32GB including the preloaded 2GB memory.
 
The Backflip is also a nice Android phone with a reverse-flip design. It offers talktime up to 6 hours and standby time up to 315 hours.
 
The Backflip is available at a price of Rs.22,990.
 
On the occasion of the launch of these sets, Motorola vice president Andrew Morley said, "We are taking the Android experience to a whole new level in India with the launch of our two smartphones Milestone XT720 and Backflip.”
 
These Motorola phones also offer lifetime free access to voice-guided street-level navigable MapmyIndia maps of 401 cities in India.
