Motorola Defy, which was recently launched along with seven new smartphones from Motorola, will soon hit India, sources said. According to sources, the phone would be released in India on January 24.
 
The phone was rolled out recently in Europe and Australia. The other mobile phones launched along with Motorola Defy are Spice, the Bravo, the Flipside and the Flipout.
 
As the name goes Motorola Defy has a sturdy body and is water resistant and dust proof. The phone boasts of a 3.7-inch touch-screen, 2 GB memory, expandable up to 32 GB, FM Radio and a 5 mega pixels camera. Defy supports a range of smart features like MOTOBLUR, Digital Living Network Alliance for HDTV, CrystalTalk Plus technology for noise filtration.
 
Defy would run Android 2.1 with an option to update the version to 2.2 Froyo. Besides, in certain parts, the device also suffers from problems with its ear phones. Yet, so far, there is no action from Motorola. Even the company has not come out with replacement option.
