Teen icon Miley Cyrus in a bid to clear her image has admitted that she is sorry about her salvia bong controversy and confesses that she regrets her action. The singer had hogged headlines in December when a video showing Cyrus allegedly smoking Salvia from a bong surfaced online.

However, the ‘Hannah Montana’ star has realised her fault and said, “I`m not perfect, I made a mistake ... I`m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans."

The actress said so in an interview with leading magazine Marie Claire. Cyrus was asked in the interview, "But do you really think it was a mistake? Obviously college kids your age all over America are smoking bongs with a lot more than salvia in them."

And the 18-year old hottie answered, "But they`re not Miley Cyrus. They`re not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."

It is good to learn that Cyrus has ultimately realised her mistake and also admitted it publicly but we hope that she doesnot commit such mistake in future as it can eventually harm her shinning career.
