Two time Academy Award winner Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with a tumor in his throat but the actor is positive about the full recovery. The actor will undergo radiation and chemotherapy that will last for eight weeks, Douglas representative revealed.
The 65-year-old Douglas who is married to Hollywood star Catherine Zeta Jones said in a statement ‘I am very optimistic.’
However, the representative denied revealing the place where the actor will be treated and added that he is out of United States currently.
Well, it is obvious that the work schedule of the star is going to suffer. At the moment, the actor is busy promoting his new movie ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’, which is slated to hit the US screens on September 24. In addition to it he will soon be seen in upcoming thriller film ‘Haywire’ also starring Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and Antonio Banderas in the main roles.
