Troubles of actor Mel Gibson are not over yet. It is reported that the actor can face jail term if he fails to prove his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva’s child support claims false.
The Russian beauty has accused Gibson of not paying $20,000 a month as a child support for their daughter Lucia. She will turn one on Saturday, October 30 and if the Hollywood star is found guilty at a court hearing he could be imprisoned.
A source informed, "For three consecutive months, Mel has paid Oksana somewhere between $5,000 and $10,000 each month, it varies, but either way, it is well short of what a judge instructed he must deliver the mother of his child."
Meanwhile, Oksana's attorney Lisa Bloom has called Gibson a ‘deadbeat dad’ who has failed to take care of his child.
She said, “Mel Gibson, at this point, is a deadbeat dad."
When asked about the reason why the star is not paying the amount as agreed, she said, "Because he wants to continue to bully Oksana. This is a pattern of behavior that has gone on and on and he thinks he can take advantage of the mother of his daughter."
