The Feeding America campaign has taken a strong turn after Hollywood actors like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck has come forward to help the hungry Americans. The campaign which is already supported by singers like Tim McGraw, Beyonce and Rihanna now witnesses the support of the two top H-town actors.
The actors’ has filmed public service announcements (PSAs) to promote the campaign. Feeding America is a non-profit organisation that seeks to help impoverished citizens.
Affleck was quoted as saying, “Do you realise that 49 million Americans struggle with hunger? That's one out of every six Americans. These people are around us every day; they're our friends, our co-workers, their kids go to school with our kids.”
'Sometimes we're not even aware that they're struggling. This problem is closer than you think - so is the solution,' Affleck added.
